Shrimp Byelaw 2016 – Formal Consultation

At the 23^rd Eastern IFCA meeting on the 27^th April 2016, the Shrimp Byelaw 2016 was made.

The intention of the byelaw is to require commercial fishers who fish for shrimp to obtain a permit which is endorsed for shrimp fishing. The byelaw will also require catch data to be returned to the Authority. The Shrimp permit endorsement also has an associated fee.
